Did you know that you can use the Harris County Public Library system with your Montgomery County Library Card? So, if you live in Kingwood and it would be easier to stop in at that library, bring your card along and check out books there....it's that easy.  Click on the link to search their catalogue and put books on hold.

The brainchild of Michael Hart, Project Gutenberg includes lots of famous and important texts that are freely available to everyone in the world! There are over 20,000 ebooks that you can download and read for free. So, if you forgot your book at school, check here and see if you can find it online.

...a great place to order books if WOMS library doesn't have them. Just use your library card to reserve a book on line. The librarians there will email you and let you know when your book is ready to pick up! They also have way more audio books both to reserve and to download.

The best part of the Houston Public Library site for teens is their SPORTS PAGE, although I also enjoy RANDOM DIVERSIONS. However, this site is heavy with other informatioin that is worth time--if you are a teen that is.

Perhaps no place in any community is so totally democratic as the town library. The only entrance requirement is interest.
